Middlesex Men’s Basketball wins 4th straight with three players scoring 22 or more points.
Edison, NJ- The Colts got a great team victory on the road against Camden County College. The final score was 93-86. Middlesex led the game by as much as 17 points before Camden came storming back and cut the lead to 4 points. Then Freshman Guard Sean Williams(Old Bridge, NJ), who finished the game with 22 points, hit a clutch 3 with less than two minutes left on the clock. The Colts were able to close out game with two defensive stops and four straight made free throws.
Sophomore Guard Josh Cabezudo(Perth Amboy, NJ) led the Colts with 27 points and added six Rebounds. Freshmen Guard Julius Belton(Old Bridge, NJ) scored 14 of his 22 points in the second Half and also dropped six assists. The Colts also hit a season high 11 three pointers.
The Colts next game is on the road against the County College of Morris on March 18th.
