GEORGE MANGANDI NAMED NJCAA MENS SOCCER D3 PLAYER OF THE WEEK

George Mangandi, a freshman forward from South Plainfield, has been named the NJCAA National Division III Player of the Week for Men's Soccer.

Magnandi nabbed the prestigious honor after a pair of two-goal games for Middlesex College last week. 

In addition, Mangandi also registered two assists giving him a total of 10 points wins over Delaware County Community College and Union County College.

Mangandi is tied for the team lead with Claudio Lopez (Freshman, Dunellen, NJ) with seven goals. 

This is the second major individual award for Middlesex College Men's Soccer this year as Matias Barreiros (Freshman/Sayreville, NJ) previously was recognized as the GSAC Player of the Week.

Middlesex College is winding down their season and has just three regular season games left. They are back in action Thursday when they travel to RCSJ-Gloucester for an important road contest.
